Hi Ariel,
Just finished reading your blog for 2014.  Excellent results my friend.  I remember when you started learning code, no excuses, you got in there and became an excellent code man.  You inspired me to try QRP and I consider you an elmer to an Old ham.  I have half of the states and about 30 countries now.  You are an inspiration to all around you and I consider myself lucky to call you friend.  All the best in 2015, can't wait to see what happens.  73.

Hi Ariel, Very nice blog spot you have here! I see that we have some similar interests. I love to home brew antennas, collect antique tube radios, and am trying to learn about restoring and also building some ham radio equipment. I have built a few kits, but I am a beginner at electronics so I have to learn as I go. Unfortunately, there is no one local that can Elmer me, so I have to rely on books and the internet when I run into problems. I am the Vice President and webmaster of the Swamp Fox Contest Group, and appreciate your interest in the club. You should be hearing from our club President soon about you application. 73, Frank KG4IGC

Nice job on your pages. I don't recognize the key. I have a HamCo Trinidad key, which was purchased by Vibroflex. They called it a BRASS RACER IAMBIC, minus the machining pattern on the base my HamCo has. Enjoy ur posts in Yahoo Groups. Summer project here in the Tropical Alaskan Interior is Hexbeam and Carolina Windom. Currenty using GemQuad and Yaesu FTDX3000. Mostly CW and also enjoy building. Retired Data Com Engr.

Tom,  the new key arrived today.  Worked a few stations with it on 17m - one of them was an M0 prefix from Gloucester, England.  The other was a Polish station with the SP prefix.   The touch on the key is so light that breathing on it just about keys it up - just the way I like it.  Still most comfortable at about 20 wpm.  Look forward to the ragchew tomorrow 1930 EDT.  Hope others can join us.  Primary is 18072 kC +/- .
